Hard As Steel

Here's a little Editorial Cartoon I did for the latest Fact or Fiction article for my school's newspaper.

Get this, a recent new story tells of a women whose hair managed to catch a bullet while fleeing a crazed gunman. I tell ya', we live in a strange world.

This is some AMAZING fan art done by cartoonist Jon Harsem, author of the comic strip Blown Out. I had conacted him telling him that I was a fan of his work, and he replyed with some amazing advice and this wonderful rendering of Neville the tiger.

Seriously, how awesome is that!

Neville & Co. #23

Edition number 23.

It's my first new on that I did with color. I still like the dynamic of a black and white strip, so not every cartoon I make with be put throught Gimpshop. I'm also still experimenting with the tools that Gimpshop has to offer

But until I can finally figure them out, enjoy this one!

Neville & Co. IN COLOR!

Yes! It's my very first technicolor rendition of Neville & Co.!

I'd like to thank Jesse Cline (author of All Too Human) for telling me about an amazing program called Gimpshop. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a decent photoshop program without having to pay money.

Neville & Co. #17

Edition number 17, my English teacher taught me this cool trick when I post my cartoons:

When I scan my comics onto Microsoft Paint, I can then paste them onto Microsoft Word, enhance the comic using the awesome picture tool bar, and then re-paste onto Paint and save.

This really looks better don'tcha think? :)
